Laboratory Services
A hospital laboratory is an integral part of the hospital, and our laboratory at Shasta Regional Medical Center is committed to accuracy and efficiency in providing test results for its patients.
Our lab is conveniently located on the hospital campus and is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays.
The Clinical Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and The American Association of Blood Banks.
We perform a full range of diagnostic tests, which are performed by licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists with bachelor degrees. Blood draws are performed by California Certified Phlebotomy Technicians with training and experience with all age groups. A pathologist is available for physician consultation.
